My name is Sam McCool. I am from Newburgh, IN, and study at the University of Cincinnati DAAP in industrial design. The phrase “constraints craft creativity” is based in my belief that design should have more basis in engineering and manufacturability, rather than aesthetics.

Outside of design, I enjoy photography, the outdoors, and working with my hands. Growing up on a farm taught me many skills I employ in my design career. Such as woodworking, various tools, and basic functional design like organizers, decking, furniture, and others.
